I have gotten behind in my scrapbook pages so here is a set that I created to showcase Sam's 5th birthday in March. It's a four page spread. I tried to capture the emotion and fun during the night while using a few of his favorite colors.
I am desperately trying to catch up. I don't want to have gobs to do at the end of the year! (Gosh only 2 or 5 months behind....lol)
Have you seen the commercial with the dad who goes into the bedroom to change the baby and he goes to take off the diaper and it's like a fire hose goes off - pee everywhere - (by the way if you hadn't guessed it's a baby boy) - I just giggled and laughed my butt off watching that one. Then the tag line comes up "Nothing stops a leak like huggies" lol
We were invited by the VA to a Welcome Home Veterans bash at Oaks Park. We were given ride bracelets and a nice lunch. They had music, face painting and of course lots of fun rides. Even senator Widen came and spoke.
The kids and I got our faces painted but Sam had his spiderman re-done because the guy didn't know what he was doing and when Sam saw it all he could say was "He's only got one eye". We all had a blast. Tanis came and I was so greatful she did - It was great to have an extra set of hands - especially when Ruth got too tired and super cranky before she crashed.
