{Weight Loss Weigh In: Week 4}

Yep, it's that time again. Time to weigh in. I totally forgot today was Friday to tell you the truth. I have been dreading it. I really don't know why. I have been working on what I put into my mouth and that has been less chips & candies. Although I did break down and buy a dozen donuts yesterday and ate my favorite potato bread rolls and made mini turkey sandwiches out of them. I did pile on the lettuce & tomatoes though, although the rolls were a lot of bread that wasn't so healthy for me.

I haven't gotten the energy to get back on the treadmill due to being so exhausted. This pregnancy is just really more tiring on my body. I can't wait to see the doc and have them see if I am anemic because I don't think sleeping away the day is at all normal. Not only is my exercise being put on the back burner but so is my daily chores...the dishes pile up like crazy and the bathrooms look hideous. If it were just William and me the house wouldn't look as bad but we do have three kids who are not so neat.

Anywho here is my current weight. I didn't lose anything but at least I didn't gain anything either.

Current Weight: 299.5 pounds

Weight loss: 0 pounds

Total Weight loss: 5.5 pounds

Weight still to lose: 65.5 pounds to go

{Ten Years & Counting}

Ten years ago I started down a wonderful path with the man I love. I can't believe it's been ten years already but at times it seems like it's been an eternity. We have been thru so much & have changed and grown together.

We started down this path together and hope to have many more years to come. In ten years we have had three beautiful children, lots of joy, laughter and hardship and we have grown closer because of it. Our life isn't perfect but it's getting there and I can't wait to see what another ten years will bring for us.

It seems just yesterday these pictures were taken...I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you & seeing what life has instore for us.

{Sam's Birthday "The End"}

Here are the rest of Sam's birthday pictures. I have more that I need to edit from when we were at Pojo's but I wanted to share these first.

We got the cake made at Albertson's for Sam because I wasn't going to have time to do it for him this year. He wanted a Gizmo cake, ya know from Gremlins, and they did a super job, I brought in an image of what I would like and they really made me look good for Sam. He was ecstatic when he saw it!

Sam asked that we have pizza for his birthday dinner so of course I obliged him. 4 large pizza's didn't go very far with 5 adults & 3 kids but everyone got their fill and it made it easier to have cake and ice cream after.

Soon it was time for Sam to blow out the candles and before the cake even got set down he had all the candles blown out, I relit them and asked him to take some time blowing them out so I could get at least one shot of him blowing out his candles.

From his grandma & grandpa, Sam got a cool cowboy hat and a neat darth vader bobble head. From me & his dad he got a robot R2D2 and stickers. He was so stoked because all he talked about was star wars this or that for his birthday. He really did have a great day.

The robot needed batteries and it took 3 adults & 3 kids to figure out how the batteries went into it. Seriously how hard do kids toys need to be? We finally got it figured out and soon the little R2D2 was roaming the halls and chasing the cats.

Please excuse my messy house, I had been gone all day and just hadn't had a chance to get the house "photo ready", and YES that is my bed in the livingroom, I have been having horrible dreams about not being able to get the kids out of the basement in times of fire so everyone is upstairs. I am going to get some screens to section it off but for now it's exposed...at least the bed is made, right?

{Weight Loss Weigh In: Week 3}

This week was hard. I had a tough time when it came to cravings. For the most part I ignored them but after a few days I gave in. I had some carrot cake (it's got carrots so it's a bit more healthy, right?) and a DQ Blizzard. I have been craving odd things not only were some sweet but some were just odd for me. Let me explain, I am not a huge polish/hot dog person and I have been craving polish/hot dogs like crazy.  I have been craving pears & apples w/peanut butter, (and not any peanut butter but "skippy" brand - which I don't have in the house), I have bought so much fruit lately that the kids don't even get a chance to have any before I have to buy more.

I have also been super tired lately and haven't been able to work out everyday, I only walked the treadmill 3 times this week and then for only 1/2 mile. Who knew being pregnant would hinder working out?

So here is my progress for the week:

Current Weight: 299.5 pounds

Weight loss: - 2 pounds

Total Weight loss: 5.5 pounds

Weight still to lose: 65.5 pounds to go

I am looking forward to getting more done this next week.  I was supposed to see the doc at the end of the month for my ultrasound but I had to move it to the first of April. I will let you know how it turns out. Did I mention that starting next friday Spring Break will begin for the kids? Well it does and I am sooo not prepared for it.

{Yummy Tea's}

(Images found here)

I love shopping at the Grocery Outlet and when I took my dad & step mom to the one in Boise I found these tea's for a really great price. Just so you know I bought these because I wanted the tin's and didn't care if the tea was any good but so far the acaiberry & coconut chai teas have been delish! I love all sorts of teas and since being preggers I find my tummy doesn't handle things as well and these teas don't upset my tummy and they are really yummy!

I think you can get these tea's at most any store but I did find an online store that carries this brand of tea and for a very reasonable price too. Just click HERE to see the online store. They have samplers (which is what I have, the sampler comes with 4 different teas and each section holds 4 pouches for each tea). I really love how cool the satchels look too, they are organic and biodegradable and have no metal what so ever in them, (which means if you wanted you could heat them in the microwave with your cup of water).

Anywho, just thought I would share my favorite find this month. I am defiantly getting more, now the container is the bonus instead of the other way around like I originally thought.

{Cravings, Nausea & Sore Boobs, OH MY!}

**WARNING!!! PREGNANCY SYMPTOM TALK!!**

So I am 6 weeks pregnant today. Over the past week I have had my hip hurt like someone was stabbing me and twisting in my hip socket when I walked, sat, laid down or moved in general. It only lasted 2 days but with the nausea that flows in and out throughout the day, it was not pretty.

My boobs are starting to swell a bit and are becoming so sore, I know TMI (too much info) but it's true and this is my blog about me and what I am going thru. It has become painful to wear my bra, due to nipple sensitivity. I think I am going to have to go bra shopping again (I just got 4 NEW bras last month!).

My cravings the past week have been under control and not too outrageous until these last 3 days. I have been craving not so healthy things. What you ask? Well lets see, when it started I absolutely had to have a cupcake with cream cheese frosting (real healthy, right!), I didn't indulge that craving, well I tried to sooth it with a handful of chocolate chips and was very disappointed. Yesterday I was craving a polish dog from Costco and because I didn't want to drive that far I figured Dairy Queen's hot dogs would do the trick. Well I was wrong and ended up sicker then sick due to it not settling well.

What I gleaned from my odd and radically different cravings is that this baby is going to be soo different from my other pregnancies when it comes to cravings. With Aaron I craved salads, chicken, water & lots of fresh fruit. With Sam I craved DQ blizzards, (chocolate chip cookie dough without the chocolate syrup). With Ruth I craved oranges, peanutbutter & water.

My nausea is different too. With the boys I only had it during my 3rd month and then only for that month & with Ruth I had it off and on and it always ended in me laying with my arms wrapped around the toilet seat while trying not to get my hair in the bowl as I threw up my latest meal. This pregnancy I am nauseated off and on and it comes in waves and I get dizzy when it hits. I am hoping it passes soon because it's so much worse then tossing my cookies.

I have been really tired, more so then normal and have been taking cat naps. I hate that my body is betraying me and making me take these naps. Doesn't it know I have a sink full of dishes and laundry to do? I know I need rest but sleeping most of the day away with cat naps every time I sit down is crazy. I asked hubby to make sure I don't fall asleep today because I want to get stuff done that needs tending to.

With all my "whining" I am grateful I do have these symptoms, as hubby says "Every one of them tells me I am pregnant and that the babe is still growing inside me" and then he follows it with "quit your whining!" (big smile on his face when he says it though!)

I am really happy and have good feelings that this little one is going to hold tight and stay with me for the long 40 weeks! I have an ultra sound at my first "official" doctor's visit at the end of the month. I will be about 7.5 weeks then and they are hoping to see the heartbeat! I am really looking forward to that!

{Sam's Birthday part THREE}

Here is part Three of Sam's big day of fun at Pojo's on his SEVENTH Birthday!

So after the bumper cars Sam went to go play the star wars video game some more while Ruth & Aaron went to go play on the carousel. After which we all went to go have some lunch in Pojo's cafe.

While waiting for our food to come to us, Aaron couldn't seem to take his eyes off himself in the mirror above our booth and Sam couldn't help but make tons of weird faces while Ruth just played with her "Squishy".

Enjoy!
