{Bee}

Look what I found on my font step when I opened the door - this poor thing looked cold and lost. I snapped a few pictures then put him up high somewhere warm outside so he could find his way tomorrow when it warmed up. Enjoy!

{Some Finds while perusing some blogs}

I love to read blogs and hop from blog to blog - getting my much needed "Mommy" time. I always come across some of the most fun and interesting crafts, sayings and lives. I have a nice little stash of things I am going to try for different holiday's next year if they have already past and will try for those that haven't past this year. Below are two really great ideas - if you take a look you'll see why.

Stolloween created these fun and creatively ghoolish pumpkins out of papermache.

and you have to check out these mini carmel apples that Sakurako Kitsa made. They are just too cute for words and would be the delight of anyone at your next party!

{Tagged Again: Quirks}

Paula tagged me.

Rules:
Link to 6 people that follow your blog.
Mention on their blog that you've tagged them.
Tell 6 unsuspecting quirks about yourself and ask them to do the same.

1. I do not like it when people read over my shoulder or invade my personal space. It drives me nuts and I become a bit of a crazy woman when telling them to "back off".

2. I hate driving. I used to enjoy it but now I feel like a chauffeur and dread getting behind the wheel - I avoid it at all costs - but will drive if I have to.

3. I like the holiday season but rarely decorate for it - except for Christmas because I have decorations for Christmas and not the other holiday's. One day I will have to rectify the situation.

4. I am not a perfect mom or wife but I am trying to get better - although I will never be a "suzy homemaker" or a "martha stewart" wan-a-be.

5. I don't like to swim in natural water (ie: rivers, streams, lakes, oceans) because I have watched the following movies: JAWS & PIRANHA and worry that some ungodly creature will attack me. (very irrational I know)

6. I don't like port-a-potties because I watched a horror movie where a ghoolie was waiting in the "hole" and when an unexpecting patron went in to do his business he got killed from the bottom up.

I've tagged YOU: Carla, Heather, Robin, Jason,Tanis & Robbie

{I've been Tagged}

I was tagged by Kayla.

Here are the rules:

1. Post the rules on your blog.
2. Write 7 random things about yourself.

Here are 7 random things about me:

1. My hair turns a much darker auburn during the winter, while during the summer it's much more strawberry blonde

2. I just hate it when someone leaves the milk jug in the fridge with only a drop of milk in it.

3. I like to browse store fronts, but not buy anything.

4. I like to write and draw, but don't have the time to do it much anymore.

5. I can't wait to get preggers w/baby #4.

6. My life is crazy but if it wasn't I wouldn't be able to get anything done.

7. I want a very large fish tank w/a hundred different fish in it.

I'm tagging Barbara - aka MOM, Julie, Bethany, Ruth, Jenni, Liz, Jessi!

{Rough Day}

Ruth and I got ready to head out to church - it was going to be our first Sunday at our new ward and I wanted to get all my info into the ward clerk/secretary so that I could access the stake website. The boys were not cooperating at all and since William doesn't like to go to church with me anymore I have to go with the kids by myself. Normally not a problem but they were in a foul mood and I just wasn't in the mood to deal with it today, so Ruth and I went by ourselves.

It must have been Stake or Ward Conference because the parking lot was EMPTY and void of all life. So instead we went to Wal-mart to pick up more milk and just enjoy each others company. On a side note - William and the kids go thru at least one gallon of milk per day - some days even more...I am going Milk broke! lol

Once we got back home the kids were playing outside with Shelbee. While they were busy I decided to throw some corn dogs into the oven for them for when they got hungry after playing so hard. William brought Shelbee in shortly after the kids had their corn dogs and low and behold one of the kids didn't close the door and she got out - AGAIN! This was the last straw for me - I am going to be taking Shelbee back to the family we got her from because she doesn't come when called and darts in and out of the road and I am afraid she will get hit by a car. She really is a good dog but I can't have a dog that runs away all the time.

William is hopeful we will find the right dog for us - I am not so hopeful - but we will see. So tomorrow I am taking her back and the kids are all upset about it - but really it's the right thing for her - I would just feel awful if she got turned into road kill because she won't listen.

Well I better go - I need to figure out what is for dinner and hopefully next Sunday the church won't be so empty and someone will be there.

{Pumpkin Patch}

We went to the pumpkin patch this afternoon to look for some pumpkins for the kids. It was fun but tiring. I even got some apples, pears, bundle of HUGE carrots and red & yellow potatoes. It was a good outing for sure. Below are some snaps of our short time there. Enjoy!

{More from Today}

So I went out later in the day and photographed a few more things - just mostly macro and a few of Ruth because she was following me round and round - trying to see everything up close while I was clicking my shutter. I had forgotten how calming taking pictures can be. I really enjoy it and had forgotten how much I had missed it. Enjoy!
