I started spotting the day before yesterday in the evening. I tried to relax like I was told and soon the bleeding stopped. The spotting started up again right before I went to bed. I wasn't too worried about it as I thought perhaps it was break thru bleeding and I figured that the cramping was just the uterus stretching (ya know those slight cramps that I have had in the past pregnancies that went to full term).
Unfortunately, that was not the case, because this morning I was in full on miscarriage. I am bummed and a bit depressed that this pregnancy didn't take.
This makes the 4th miscarriage since we started trying to get pregnant for the last time. We are going to continue to try, but I am not sure if the next one doesn't take if I will continue. It's a bit disheartening to have my body betray me like this. I know there is nothing I could have done to prevent it, but seriously my body should just cooperate and give me what I want! But I do know that things happen in their own time and when the moment is right it will happen, right now is not the moment.
Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm. We'll see.

{Christmas Eve - take three}
Christmas eve lunch consisted of a nice Turkey, (provided by my uncle), mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole (all made by Sarah & Gary), jello delight, (made by Kitty) & a nice pumpkin custard, (made by my dad). It was nice to enjoy the afternoon with family.
Unfortunately, Gary & Sarah left, but for good reason, to spend time with her family for the night, we missed them but it was great to spend time with Clay, Dad & Kitty. The kids enjoyed playing with their Grandpa.
The below image is my view of lunch from my seat...I love my table and my family!

{She's 4!!}
That's right, my youngest & only girl is now 4!! Can you believe how time has flown. She is growing into a spitfire of a young lady and speaks her own mind. She is gorgeous and lovely not only in appearance but in the way she handles other people. She has a gentle soul but that doesn't mean she cowers when she wants something.
I can only imagine the struggles I will have when she is old enough to date...She has her grandpa's (all of them) wrapped around her little finger and enjoys cuddling in their laps when they come to visit or we visit them. She loves her grandmothers and enjoys getting her brothers into trouble...
Her eyes are just as blue as ever and even though her hair is starting to lose it's curl due to it getting longer she still has her impish smile to warm your heart when she does something wrong. My life wouldn't be the same without her in it and I know when the next baby comes she will be a great big sister.

{Christmas Eve - take two}
So here is part two of our Christmas eve Family get-together. Opening of presents! William was super excited when he saw he got a game chair and the kids were super excited about the handmade gifts my mom sent for them. The boys got scarfs & Ruth got a cute hat w/flowers. Kitty was excited with her handmade shawl from my mom as well...((Hint, hint, MOM - Ruth wants a shawl like grandma Kitty's - same size, she can wear it as a cape but requests that it have flowers like her hat))
Dad had to whip out his knife to help him open a few of his gifts as they were wrapped in duct tape. Gary & Sarah gave one another super adorable puzzles. The kids enjoyed getting the slippers in their stockings and I was stoked to get from Gary & Sarah a really nice white baking dish with stand. ((I used it for the green bean casserole))
Everyone got yummy treats from me & although the kids can't play with their toys they are working on earning them back with good behavior and listening to mommy & daddy. (I know they can do it! I just know it!!)
Enjoy!!
