I am participating in Angie's "Lose 6 in 6" which involves losing either inches or weight in 6 months (I wanna lose both) Angie wants to lost 6" in 6 months.
I would like to get down to 234 pounds (42.5 lbs from what I weigh today) by the end of the year, so in 6 months I would love to lose 1/2 of that (aprox 21 lbs).

When I got pregnant with my kids I could always get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 234 (well at least with my boys I could) after having my now 5 year old little girl I went on birth control and not only did I not lose the 30 lbs I gained while carrying her but I gained another 30 lbs. Once I got pregnant with my now 2 month old little girl I weighed in at 305 lbs (YIKES!!) and while I carried her I changed my eating habits, got more exercise and for most of the pregnancy I didn't gain any weight but actually lost weight (no, I didn't starve myself or under eat, I just changed my eating habits and added exercised). During my pregnancy the most I lost was 17lbs and after having her, (and after all the swelling went down), I was down a grand total of 34 lbs but gained back 5.5 lbs bringing my weight to 276.5 lbs (as of tonight).
I am really happy with my progress so far and want to have some accountability again. It's been 2 months since having my little girl and it's time for me to get my butt in gear again and start losing some unwanted weight/inches. Below is my starting weight/inches.

Everything was taken on December 28, 2010 at night while everyone slept.
Starting Weight: 276.5 pounds
the following measurements were taken with a metal tape measure - 'cause it's what I had
51" breast
42" waist
57" hips
17" flabby upper arms
I just noticed that my measurements mean I have an hour glass figure! How awesome is that!!
(Me in my PJ's showing off my flabby EVERYTHING)
(and post pregnancy belly)
Mind you the above images are showcasing my TOO BIG clothing that I wore while I was pregnant and now sags off me but I can't get rid of 'em cause they are comfy but don't wear them out in public - oh wait, I just did!
So here I am bearing it all and going to become accountable again and I will be posting on my blog every Friday (starting next week) with my weight-loss success and failures as I journey to become lighter and more healthier not only for me but for my kids too.
Good for you! I'll look forward to seeing your progress!
