{Board Game Night}

Last night we played board games at the local game shop while hubby was playing war board games with some of the guys from his meet up group. I had fun playing with the kids and watching the other gamers play too. Sam was fascinated by the war games and watched all the guys play and conquer.

I played "candyland", "jenga" and of course "hungry hippos" with the kids and I even was able to snap a few pictures from the last thirty minuets of the night. The kids had fun and so did I, despite a few meltdowns over who was winning, stealing their marbles or MJ crying because she was either hungry, needing changed or just plain tired. It was still nice to get out and enjoy being around adults (even if I couldn't participate like I wanted to with them).

  1. It's cool to see guys sitting across the table playing games face-to-face and not just on computers! Looks like a fun time.
