We went on a fun field trip last week to the "Deerflat National Wildlife Refuge" with other homeschool families. It was so much fun and we got to hear a great presentation at the visitors center and then got to explore the visitors center, (which had some cool displays & fun games/activities for the kids to do), and then we went down one of the trails & just enjoying the beauty of the refuge.
We would have finished the trail if Ruth hadn't of fallen and gouged two small holes into her hand but overall it was an awesome experience and it was free & very educational! It was a great day to go too! The very next day the weather changed from nice and sunny to dark & cloudy. I am so glad we went!
